14h30 Depart Port Elizabeth for Storms River Mouth via Jeffreys Bay (203km).
Lunch en-route at the client's discretion.
Stop at Supertubes, Jefferys Bay to view world renown surfing beach.
Visit and view the spectacular Storms River Bridge, and the Big Tree, a majestic 800 year
old Yellowood.
18h00 Arrive Storms River Mouth Restcamp, in the Tsitsikamma National Park.

Day 2: Tsitsikamma to Wilderness

09h00 We walk to the black waters of Storms River mouth and its famous suspension
bridges.
10h30 Depart for Knysna, with a forest walk in the Garden of Eden and breathtaking views
from the Lookout Point at the Knysna Heads.
12:00 Arrive at Knysna Waterfront for lunch.
13h30 Depart for the Wilderness.
After visiting the Knysna Waterfront we follow the scenic Garden Route to our
accommodation at Wilderness.

Day 3: Wilderness to Oudtshoorn

09h00 Depart for Oudtshoorn via the scenic Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich
capital of South Africa.
We visit an ostrich show farm for an educational tour and background history of ostrich
farming of South Africa and the famous Cango Caves, the largest limestone caves in the
southern hemisphere.

Day 4: Oudtshoorn to Swellendam
Early morning Meerkat adventure to witness these cute and playful creatures in their natural
environment.

Depart Oudtshoorn via the beautiful Robertson Pass to Mossel Bay, visit the Mossel Bay
Museum, before we make our way to Swellendam, the third oldest town in South Africa.
Visit the Old Drosty Museum and explore the quaint little town of Swellendam.

Day 5: Swellendam to Hermanus

We visit the Old Drostdy Museum in Swellendam before making our way to Cape Agulhas,
the most southerly tip of Africa, and a visit to the shipwreck museum in Bredasdorp.
Visit the official meeting place of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans for that ‘Kodak’ moment, the
newly added Information Centre and historic Lighthouse.
Scenic drive on the backroads to Hermanus.
Our accommodation this evening is at a loverly seafront, self-catering apartment, in
Hermanus, the Whale watching capital of South Africa. (we might be a bit early for the whale
season, but you never know.)

● drop into the working, fishing harbour, of Kalk Bay
● before going on to Simonstown, to visit the charming penguins of Boulders.
● Then to the Cape of Good Hope, to possibly observe rare Bontebok antelope,
Mountain Zebra and Eland, and spectacular views from the lighthouse at Cape Point.
